ABOUT US
Rocky and Barbara Choate started Choate Monument Company in 1978, inspired by the belief that "every customer deserves individual attention at no extra charge."
​
Since that time thousands of people from the Brazos Valley and surrounding areas, as well as organizations such as the Texas A&M Foundation and the City of College Station, have entrusted their memorial needs to Choate Monument Company.
​
The Lord took Rocky home in October 2019, but his legacy continues today under the leadership of his and Barbara's daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Chris Ross (TAMU '94).

Chris Ross
Payton grew up in Franklin and joined the Choate team in 2021. He enjoys reading, playing guitar, and watching UFC.
Originally from Huntsville, Brad joined Choate Monument in 2022. He is a father of four and loves to watch and play baseball.
Ben joined the Choate team in 2023. He is pursuing a biology degree while helping with the family business.
Chris joined our team in 2023 and is also at Blinn. He helps with our monument design process. See his artistic skills on TikTok.
