RE-LEVELING
Various factors cause headstones to become un-level over time, such as changes in the soil beneath or around the monument, insect activity (especially ants), and vandalism.
To re-level a headstone, we begin by removing it and its base and gently setting these aside. After extracting any concrete or mortar previously laid beneath these, we lay a new concrete foundation. We then reset and level the headstone with its base on this new foundation.
All our headstone sales come with a 10-year re-leveling warranty. Those not covered are priced according to the size of the monument. Call us today for a free estimate on your re-leveling request.

Gravestones are often purchased before the death of one or both of those memorialized on them, and customers sometimes decide they want to add a surname or phrase to a memorial that has already been installed.
We fulfill both types of requests by taking our equipment to the cemetery and engraving there. Care is taken to ensure any lettering added matches the style and size of the text previously engraved on the headstone.

Paint is used on many headstones today in order to add contrast to sandblasted lettering and design features, to make them stand out from the stone on which they are engraved. Unfortunately, exposure to the elements can cause paint to chip and fade over time.
